Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Atlassian SME(Subject Matter Expert) with hands-on experience in configuring and supporting tools like JiraJira Service Management, BitBucket and Confluence. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in administration, automation, and basic development/scripting to enhance Atlassian platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and configure Atlassian tools including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence
  • Design and manage:
    • Workflows
    • Screens
    • Permission schemes
    • Notification schemes
  • Configure and maintain JSM features:
    • Request types
    • SLAs
    • Customer portals
    • Knowledge base integration
  • Develop and manage automation rules
  • Work on scripting/customization using tools like ScriptRunner or REST APIs
  • Integrate Jira with third-party applications
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide L2/L3 support
  • Participate in migration activities (Server/Data Center to Cloud)
  • Document solutions and processes in Confluence

Required Skills

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience with Jira and Jira Service Management
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Workflows
    • Issue types
    • Custom fields
    • Permissions
  • Experience with Jira Automation
  • Basic scripting/development knowledge:
    • Groovy (ScriptRunner) OR
    • JavaScript / REST APIs
  • Good knowledge of JQL
  • Understanding of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change)

Good to Have Skills

  • Experience with apps/tools:
    • ScriptRunner
    • Automation for Jira
    • Assets (Insight)
    • Time to SLA
  • Experience in Atlassian Cloud environments
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of email configurations and user onboarding

Preferred Qualifications

  • Atlassian certifications (ACP-100, ACP-420, etc.)
  • Experience in migration (Data Center to Cloud)
  • Experience in integrating Atlassian tools with external systems
