Job Role: Playwright Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Playwright Automation Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise web automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks using TypeScript and Playwright for complex enterprise web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Automate functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test scenarios for enterprise web applications.
  • Collaborate closely with QA, Developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams to understand application functionality and testing requirements.
  • Develop reusable automation components and utilities to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
  • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless execution.
  • Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and work with development teams for timely resolution.
  • Maintain automation scripts with changing application requirements and ensure framework scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow automation best practices.
  • Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

  • 6+ years of overall experience in Software Testing/Automation.
  • Minimum 2 year of hands-on experience with Playwright (Mandatory).
  • Strong experience in enterprise web automation.
  • Excellent hands-on experience with TypeScript.
  • Experience in developing scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end, regression, smoke, and functional testing.
  • Experience with Page Object Model (POM) and automation design patterns.
  • Good understanding of REST APIs and API testing.
  • Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with Git version control.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of performance and cross-browser testing.
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms.
  • Experience with SQL and database validation
